Ok, so, in a matter of a few weeks, I now have a Blogspot, Wiki and a Website.........

Having a website related to a particular class would allow for communication outside the normal hours of the classroom at any time, day or night, as long as there is computer and internet access available. The operator of the website is able to control all information that goes on the website, from useful links to photo galleries.
I believe a website would be a great resource for students but can see that a WIKI would prove more interactive with students having the ability to add information into the site. It would really depend on the context for which it was to be used.........
A website would be great for student revision, extra resources and presentation of student work (in a Home Economics sense) while a WIKI would be more effective in a collaborative classroom environment.
Something else that needs to be considered is the level of access to computers. Obviously if you have computers in your classroom, you would be more likely to use the digital technology more often.
