This picture came through as an email with the title 'Could you drive this car?'.........It is operated with a console in the middle - who said gaming wouldn't come in useful? The digital natives will have no problem operating this car but for me as a digital immigrant, I think I might struggle...........It's a long way from the old column shift cars!
I found this image very interesting Tonita. Even tho I am not a gamer, I think that my ability to adapt to new technologies would assist me in being able to drive this car. However, like driving a normal car, it would involve a lot of practise.
ReplyDeleteI think that students would love this picture, allowing them to reinforce why they should be allowed to play video games and other console devices. I can hear them now saying, 'But miss, it will help me to be able to drive a car in the future!' :P

Loved this picture, oh what a world our children are going to live in. This picture is a great converstion tool (hook)to bring into the classroom, asking the students what they see for their future etc. As a tool for technology, students could design their own future vehicle and discuss their value/ properties.
